Ingredients:
-4 orange bell peppers
-10 oz ground turkey
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp paprika
-1/2-1 tsp cayenne powder
-1 tsp dried or fresh cilantro
For P3-P6 add real white onions, cauliflower rice or tomato sauce!
Instructions:
First prepare prepare your peppers! Cut tops off like you would to a pumpkin. Remove contents by rinsing under water and pouring out. Next carve your pepper! Make it cute or scary- whatever you’re feeling at the time. Set aside and start cooking your turkey. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat add your meat. While this starts to cook, place your pumpkin peppers in the oven on the top rack and set your oven to low broil. Time this for 10 minutes. Back to the turkey- start chopping and mixing in the pan, then add seasonings. Continue to chop meat into smaller pieces as you go. Stir until throughly cooked through then set aside. After 10 minutes flip your peppers to opposite side for another 10. When finished, remove and spoon in your turkey meat. Add hot sauce or enjoy as is! HaPpY HaLlOwEen!
