Unstuffed Cabbage Roll Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 oz lean ground beef
- 1 tomato diced
- 1.5 cups cabbage chopped
- 1/4 white onion diced
- 1 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1/2 tbsp garlic minced
- 2 leaves basil chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Start by cooking your ground beef and chopped onions in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook meat most of the way through.
- Next add your cabbage, tomatoes, garlic, more salt and pepper and basil.
- Stir for several minutes then add beef broth. Cover with lid and bring to boil for 20 minutes.
- Add enough broth so all of the contents in the pan are wet. After 20 minutes uncover and cook off any excess water. Let cool then enjoy!
